Reading Jamme Mosque is the first Mosque to be established in Reading. The current Mosque building  is a converted Victorian House acquired in the late 1970s. It has gone through several extensions since the acquisition.

The main prayers halls are on the ground floor, the 1st floor is also used for prayers for Friday Jumma and Eid Prayers. Room on the 1st floor are reserved for Ladies and also used for children’s classes.

The Mosque has a Library located on 1st floor available for use at the dedicated times.

Parking At The Mosque

There is parking for approximately 20 cars at the rear of the Mosque.

Alternatively limited parking is available on the surrounding roads. However, the Mosque urges people to walk, use public transport or car share where possible. Please also ensure as responsible members of the community to park your cars with due care by not blocking any drive ways and parking on pavements.
